What is Google Analytics and how does it work?
Google Analytics is a free web analytics service offered by Google that tracks and reports website traffic. It provides detailed statistics about website visitors, including their demographics, interests, and online behavior. By analyzing these metrics, website owners can make informed decisions to optimize their site's performance and user experience.
Google Analytics works by tracking user interactions on your website (store) using a piece of code called a tracking code. This code, usually embedded in the HTML of your web pages, collects data about user visits, page views, session duration, and more. The collected data is then sent to Google's servers, where it is processed and made available for analysis through the Google Analytics dashboard.
