What is a 1099-NEC tax form?

All 1099-NEC forms are e-mailed to our United States creators on or by January 31st of each year.


You will receive a 1099-NEC if:

You will NOT receive a 1099-NEC if:
  • You are a U.S. citizen or business
    AND
  • You made at least $600.00 in revenue during the last tax year
  • You are NOT a US citizen or business
    OR
  • You DID NOT make at least $600.00 in revenue in the last tax year.



Where can I find my 1099-NEC form?

If you are waiting for a 1099 and have not received it via email by February 15th, here's what to do:

  1. Go to https://www.clips4sale.com/clips/page/support to submit a Creator ticket under Tax Inquiry
  2. Fill out the verification fields:
    • Store Number:
    • Username:
    • Payable Name:
    • Phone Number:
    • Email Address on the Account:
    • Last 4 digits of the SSN or EIN on the Account:


IMPORTANT:

The document will be in PDF format requiring a password to unlock the document to view it.

  • The password will be the first four (4) letters of your payable name (all lowercase) and the last four (4) digits of your tax ID number.


PLEASE REMEMBER: Due to the need to track these issues, you should not call or use the live chat system to request a copy of your 1099-NEC, you must submit a support ticket and provide the required information.
